The basic rules for using Shard and sharing your cards.
Shard operates from the United States.
Using Shard
By using Shard, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age where you live. A parent or guardian must agree if you cannot enter into these terms yourself. Provide accurate information and protect access to your account.
Your cards and content
You own the content you provide and permit us to store, process, display, and share it as needed to provide Shard and follow your choices. Only use content you have permission to use. Published cards and contact details may be copied by others; deleting them cannot recall those copies.
Use Shard responsibly
Do not use Shard for fraud, impersonation, harassment, spam, unlawful activity, or infringement of someone’s rights. Do not share private information without permission, bypass security, access other accounts, or disrupt the service. Templates do not grant rights to someone else’s identity, trademarks, or images.
Premium and payments
Prices, billing periods, and purchase terms are shown before payment. Manage or cancel subscriptions through the provider that billed you. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Refunds follow the applicable provider’s process and your legal rights. Referral rewards are subject to the terms shown when offered and may be reversed for refunds, disputes, or abuse.
Availability and other services
Features may change or be discontinued, and may not work on every device. Keep copies of information you need. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service or the accuracy of user content. External services and links have their own terms; appearing on Shard is not an endorsement.
Closing accounts
You may stop using Shard and delete your account in account settings. We may restrict accounts or remove content to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your information.
Responsibility and changes
To the extent the law permits, Shard is provided as available without warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes where required. If you do not agree, stop using Shard. If a provision cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
